BlastProof

What we holdand why

BlastProof is operated by BlastWave to run product trials. Everything below is collected because a trial needs it, and nothing is collected for any other purpose.

What is in it

Who you are. Your email address, your name if you give one, and which trial you belong to. Your address arrives because you typed it, or because a colleague or a BlastWave engineer invited you by name.

What you tell us about your network. A trial needs to know what it is being tested against: your stated use cases, the sites and devices in scope, addresses for the gateways and endpoints involved, and how they are connected. This is operational technology information about your plant, and it is the reason the rest of this page exists.

What happens during the trial. Which steps are done, what was observed, notes between you and your BlastWave engineer, and a record of who did what and when.

Who can see it

The people on your trial: your own colleagues who were added to it, the BlastWave staff running it, and any partner organisation working the trial with you. Nobody else — and this is enforced in the database itself rather than by hiding screens, so a mistake in the application cannot expose one customer's trial to another.

Email

BlastProof sends one kind of message: a link that signs you in. It is sent when you ask for one, or when somebody invites you to a trial. There is no marketing mail, no newsletter, and no list. If you would rather not receive these, tell the BlastWave engineer running your trial and they will remove you from it.

How long

A trial and its record stay with your engagement. When you want it removed, ask the BlastWave engineer running your trial.

Getting in touch

Reply to the invitation you were sent, or contact the BlastWave engineer running your trial.

BlastProof is a BlastWave service. Questions about the product itself, rather than about your trial, are best sent to your usual BlastWave contact.
